The I AM ABLE Clinical Department provides therapeutic services to our clients who are referred from a variety of social service agencies. Our Trauma Response and Intervention Movement (TR4IM) is our social cohesion, public health, new community policing model. WELLNESS H.E.A.L.S. is: I AM ABLE's Mental Health Crisis Response System for the North Lawndale Community. Available to ANYONE, ANYWHERE, ANYTIME (24/7/365).
One Summer Chicago
Connecting youth to a successful future with a summer job in Chicago. One Summer Chicago brings together government institutions, community-based organizations and companies to offer over 30,000 employment and internship opportunities to youth and young adults ages 14 to 24.
Chicago Citywide Cloth Mask Drive
Through the citywide drive, residents can make and donate homemade cloth masks that will be provided to homeless shelters, community health clinics, essential public sector workers, and other organizations to prevent outbreaks among the City’s most high-risk residents, which data has shown to be vulnerable residents on Chicago’s South and West Side communities.

The Department of Employment Security is the premier provider of workforce services in Illinois. IDES supports economic growth and stability in Illinois by providing Employment Services to Illinois residents and employers, analyzing and disseminating essential Labor Market Information, and administering Unemployment Insurance programs.
Housing, Rent, Utility, and Homeless Resources
If you find yourself in need of emergency shelter, rental, utility, and other crisis services, Catholic Charities is here for you. Financial assistance may be available for people at risk of eviction or utility shutoff due to a short-term, one-time crisis.
Community Support
Children receive round-the-clock child care for up to 72 hours for each stay. This safe and nurturing environment is designed to protect them from harmful experiences and the damaging effects of trauma. Issues that bring families to the Maryville Crisis Nursery include unemployment, parental illness or hospitalization, poverty and homelessness.
Food Resources
Food is a human right — and everyone deserves to be cared for with dignity and compassion. Our food pantry partners share this belief, and food pantries today are more like a local market than anything else.
Most food pantries today are more like grocery stores. You choose what you want and volunteers may help you load your car.
